Sunset HDR

Glass

Shot this in my room. the Dark blue walls really came out nice. used one speedlight with a snoot on the wall, at 1/64. Yongnuo 560 triggered with yongnuo rf 603

The Restricted Light project

Zakir Aleem [not a smoker ;) ]
Another one of those rare occasions when a project works out better than i expect it to go. special thanks to my friend Zakir for being unbelievably patient, and compliant :P
Teaching myself from the basics. cause I didnt properly before going into three lights. no soft lights this time. bare speedlights. one Yongnuo 560, 1/16th power and high on the right with a grid i made with a cereal box and some straws. works like magic. some added light from a yongnuo YN 465 from the left and behind Zakir at 1/64th. triggered with Yongnuo RF 603 triggers.

Raied's convocation

Dr Raied
Did a photoshoot for a dear friend today on his graduation. Tried a bit with a white cotton backdrop but i just couldn't make it work. Worked better with a black background though, got some pictures that ought to work for his parents :-P

When you least expect it
Deep inside the old part of Peshawar, Pakistan. Architecture can be beautiful in its own way, especially in places where you least expect it.

The Good, The Bad, the Ugly.
One from the archives. inspiration from a flickr User http://www.flickr.com/photos/woktografie/

I would have preferred not having the dough show (unintentional rhyme) but I couldn't think of a way for it to work without it. the smoke made my room stink but it was worth it.

Covered it up with body spray before my mom came home.
Sunset HDR
Following a very rainy day in Peshawar, on April 21st, 2012.

My first proper attempt at an HDR with a tripod (cause handheld just wont agree with photomatix. 8 pictures merged together ranging from -5 EV to +4 EV at f20.
came out better than I expected, really. so i decided I'll start this thing with this, one of those rare times when a picture comes out better than I plan it.
